Tips to make your customers more satisfied with your ecommerce shipping service


Shipping may be important for your business, especially for ecommerce business. Your customers can purchase from your business again if they are comfortable with this process. How do you do to improve their shipping experience.




Provide a range of shipping options


Your customers can be happy when your online store offers a variety of different of shipping options. Standard delivery, first class and next day delivery should be considered. Of course, a free shipping option is really good.


Offer an estimated delivery date


Also, your customers can be happy if an estimated delivery date is given by your store. This is so important for  your customers who have special plans. For instance, a customer want to send a birthday present to her/ his niece on Sunday and order on Tuesday. There is a problem that he or she does not make a decision if your store provides an estimated delivery date. In this case, you will lose your customer.


Give shipping email and/or sms notifications


Sending an email notification mentioning that a customer’s package has been shipped and he or she will receive the item shortly would be better. Without shipping email notifications, your customers can send multiple emails asking about their delivery. For your customers who cannot always check their emails, you should send a short text saying that their package has been shipped.


Provide a tracking code


Send your customers who have chosen the first class signed delivery a tracking code. They can know the positions of their package.
